Chapter 84 was started almost 50 years ago by several Snohomish residents that wanted to be part of the new, exciting and growing hobby of building and flying their own aircraft. The experimental Aircraft Association which was founded in 1953 was the genesis of what allowed these citizens to create such a club. In the upcoming weeks we hope to provide interviews and pictures of the past 50 years of Chapter 84. We are in the process of contacting EAA headquarters to obtain any information that they might have about the history of the chapter.
